5 reasons why hummus is good for you
Hummus, a creamy dip made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic, has become a staple in many diets worldwide. Here’s why it’s considered a healthy and versatile food:
1. Nutrient Powerhouse
Hummus is packed with essential nutrients. It’s a good source of plant-based protein, fiber, and healthy fats, making it a satisfying and filling snack. Additionally, it contains vitamins and minerals like manganese, copper, and iron, contributing to overall well-being.
